South on Main Celebrates Pool Groundbreaking
Spirits were high this week as the JW Collection team celebrated with an official groundbreaking ceremony for the first amenities at South on Main. While initial construction of the pool and cabana, expected to open this year, began a few weeks ago, the ceremony provided an opportunity for the neighborhood and Woodstock to mark the occasion as another piece of the South on Main vision becomes reality.
John Wieland was joined by Woodstock Mayor Donnie Henriques and members of the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce as well as JW Collection team members and neighborhood homeowners for the ceremony which took place beneath the arching branches one of the neighborhood’s now iconic trees as ongoing construction could be seen rising in the background.
Homeowners will soon enjoy the Residents Club with its inviting swimming pool and a separate kids splash pool as well as a new play park. Additional amenities are slated to follow including a clubhouse, community garden, Theatre in the Woods and more. In addition, South on Main incorporates twenty acres of parks and green space as well as direct connection Noonday Creek Trail for a short, easy walk or bike ride to Downtown shops and restaurants, Woofstock Dog Park and the entire Greenprints Trail System beyond.
